Meet The Staff

Katie Greenwood – Outreach Support Team Manager
I have worked for over 20 years in Lancashire primary schools across a range of districts. I have extensive experience of working with children with a range of needs within a mainstream and a specialist setting, including children who have significant, sometimes very challenging, behavioural difficulties arising from additional special educational needs including SEMH issues. I firmly believe that all behaviour is a form of communication and that all educators play a pivotal role in finding ways to reach and inspire children with additional needs. I enjoy keeping up to date with the latest publications and research in order to deepen my understanding and learn new skills and strategies to provide schools with the best support and provide the best possible outcomes for the pupils I work with.

Eve Govier-Lamb – Outreach Support Team Teaching Assistant
I am a new addition to the Outreach Team having previously worked as a Teaching Assistant in class at Stepping Stones. After graduating university with a Psychology degree, I worked in an SEN school within the Therapy Team. This experience allowed me to acknowledge the importance of understanding the strengths and needs of young people and this is at the core of my professionnel ideology. I thoroughly enjoy being a part of the Stepping Stones team, supporting pupils within the school and supporting pupils in schools within our districts to aid them with support, advice and resources to promote inclusion.
