Inclusion Network Meetings
Available in District 1 and District 4
These are termly network meetings to provide support and guidance, share updates, good practice, creative ideas and strategies to support inclusion. Staff will attend from each support service available through the District Inclusion Hub, including the Outreach team and the Behaviour Mentors.
BEHAVIOUR MENTORS / INCLUSION MENTORS
A new model has been introduced within Districts 1 & 4.
Trained Behaviour Mentors (D1) and Inclusion Mentors (D4) have been appointed to represent and support the schools within their District. They have been allocated schools, whom they contact fortnightly to discuss and provide advice for pupils presenting with low level behaviours. These discussions are monitored by specialist teachers from Morecambe Road (District 1) and Pear Tree (District 4). Some of these pupils might be referred on for support packages from Stepping Stones Outreach team.
