This half term we have launched Top Tip Tuesday! Each week our parents receive top reading tips, ideas for our families to use to talk about when reading together and suggestions for places/texts to read that are a bit more “outside the box”!

We always ensure we have amazing reading areas across the school, these help us to work towards our goal of encouraging reading for pleasure and making every child a reader.
Our whole school reading area shows the children new and trending releases for them to read at home. We also recommend the most popular books within our focus topic as well as books recently read by other children. The current theme is diversity – encouraging the children to learn from the books they choose and celebrate lives and people who are different to themselves.
