Training We Offer
We offer a range of behaviour and mental health related training courses which can be tailored to the needs of your school and your staff. Having an understanding of what drives challenging behaviour can have a huge impact on the success a pupil can have in their educational setting. We therefore offer training, not only on ways in which challenging behavior can be managed within a primary school, but also training which addresses the reasons for the behaviours.
We offer training for teachers, teaching assistants, learning mentors, family support workers and lunchtime supervisors, all contributing to the creation of an inclusive school.
The IST Leader has delivered training for trainee teachers at the University of Cumbria and within Training Schools. This has been in practical classroom strategies and introducing conditions such as ADHD, ASC, Attachment and ODD. The students have enjoyed these sessions, able to ask questions and look at resources.
